Rapid changes in technology move us increasingly towards economies and societies where facts and tailored texts are easy to obtain, while simultaneously complicating people’s ability to focus, engage in deep and critical thinking, and maintain social and emotional wellbeing. This interactive session provides examples and practice for integrating direct instruction on social and emotional learning (SEL) into a range of learning activities for primary school children, for both in-person and online instruction.
