Teaching English is a great challenge that provides teachers a better understanding of how diverse we are as humans even so when we are related by one common yet expanding field of belonginess: Language. However, as more and better English learning environments are built, so are the needs of students that never came in contact with English as a second language but unlike the reason that is mostly known, that of immigrating from a non-English speaker country to a English speaker community, it has to do with an isolating criteria that to this day is a norm, having an hearing loss. Deafness does not only impact the communicative skills in a hearing society, it is also a mark that condemns the person development to being given the chance to learn English in the academic system, but to proves to the world, that anyone deserves to be welcome in learning English and to do so not matter the profile of its condition, matter most, the profile of their English teachers and their inspiration to transform lives not by ears but from heart.
